This massive tree sits in front of the pedestal that the deceased is placed on in front of my local masjid before they are prayed over in the Janaza prayer.

The position of that majestic tree is a powerful reminder of the rebirth that awaits us all in the next life!

Perhaps part of the spiritual wisdom of burying our deceased is the knowledge that they will be “resurrected,” like flowers and trees with the passage of the seasons.
