The love of Ahlul Bayt, the noble household of Rasulullah ﷺ, is of central importance on our path to the love of Allah and His Rasul ﷺ. Let us listen with our hearts to this beautifully rendered qasida that emphasizes both the place of the love of the Ahlul Bayt within our Islamic and spiritual tradition, and the profound effects of such love.

Inna Fi al-Jannati
إِنَّ فِي الْجَنَّةِ نَهْرًا مِنْ لَبَنْ
لِعَلِيٍّ وَحُسَيْنٍ وَحَسَنْ
There is a river of milk in Paradise
For [Sayyidina] ‘Ali and [Sayyidina] Husayn and [Sayyidina] Hasan
حُبُّ أَهْلِ الْبَيْتِ فَرْضٌ عِنْدَنَا
وَبِهَذَا الْحُبِّ لَا نَخْشَى الْمِحَنْ
Hubb-love for the Prophetic Household is an obligation for us
And with this hubb-love, we fear no trials or calamities
كُلُّ مَنْ كَانَ مُحِبًّا لَهُمُ
يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ مِنْ غَيْرِ حَزَنْ
Everyone who loves them
Shall enter Paradise without grief or sadness
